The teenager has not signed a contract renewal with the Parisians despite indicating he’d like to stay.
But the information FT has is that Kouassi is in the advanced stages of negotiating a move to Bayern.
Kouassi, who turned 18 earlier this month, is considered one of the world’s best players in his age group.
The fact that he is available on a free transfer makes him a much sought-after talent.
Bayern will only have to pay €300,000 in training costs if they sign him, although he would receive a big signing-on fee.
It is reported that Kouassi could replace Jerome Boateng, 31, who is interested in a new challenge.
This story is now being confirmed by several reliable sources across Europe.
Confirmed @cfbayern and here we go: Tanguy Kouassi is going to sign with Bayern Münich as a free agent. Total agreement reached. The French CB has decided to leave PSG and club directors are “furious”. 🇫🇷 #Bayern #BayernMünich #PSG #transfers
