The Parisians have contacted Alaba’s entourage to register their interest in the 27-year-old, Sky Sport in Germany claims.
Alaba is out of contract in next year and everything depends on whether he decides to continue in Munich.
PSG are currently looking for a centre-back, left-back and defensive midfielder, all of which are positions Alaba can play.
The versatile defender has made 379 appearances for Bayern over the past eleven seasons.
Hernandez also on PSG radar
According to RMC Sport in France, PSG are also interested in signing Bayern’s left-sided defender Lucas Hernandez.
Though a French international, Hernandez has never played in Ligue 1 having moved to Spain when he was four.
It is reported by RMC that PSG have made Hernandez, 24, their number one target to replace the outgoing Thiago Silva.
Bayern Munich paid a club and Bundesliga record of €80m to sign Hernandez from Atletico Madrid last year.
A serious ACL injury meant the cultured defender missed a chunk of the season, but he has now recovered.
The Bundesliga champions wouldn’t want to lose any money on Hernandez, but PSG believe his value has gone down due to his injury.
22-year-old Theo, a left-back, could be an alternative to Alaba if they fail to sign him.
But Milan’s asking price of €50m is putting the French side off making an offer at this stage.
