The 24-year-old has enjoyed a fine season for Amiens, scoring nine goals in 24 Ligue 1 appearances.
His performances have led to interest from a number of clubs around Europe, including some in England according to Goal.
However, journalist Loic Tanzi of RMC states that Rennes are the favourites to sign Guirassy.
Agreeing a transfer fee is proving to be an obstacle, with Amiens rating their star striker at €20m and Rennes wanting to pay €15m plus bonuses.
Amiens signed Guirassy from FC Cologne for €6m last year following a successful loan spell.
Guirassy is attracted by the idea of playing for Rennes, particularly as they have qualified for the Champions League.
The Rouges et Noirs finished third in Ligue 1 this season behind only Marseille and champions PSG.
