Home Ligue 1 Nice Morgan Schneiderlin set to join OGC Nice from Everton

Morgan Schneiderlin set to join OGC Nice from Everton

OGC Nice are on the verge of signing midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin from Everton, according to L’Equipe.

The 30-year-old has started only 12 Premier League games this season, largely due to injury.

He is close to a return home after 12 years in England, with Nice-Matin reporting that Schneiderlin will join Nice in the ‘coming days’.

Nice and Everton have still to agree a transfer fee, but the outcome of these talks is ‘in little doubt’.

Schneiderlin had knee surgery in February, but that hasn’t deterred Nice coach Patrick Vieira.

The former Southampton star joined Everton from Manchester United in 2017 and has made 70 appearances for the Toffees.
