Juventus want midfielder Aouar on a two-year paid loan with a clause to purchase him at the end.
According to L’Equipe the Aouar case is suffering from the effect of the Coronavirus crisis and taking longer than expected.
Lyon have been hoping to earn at least €50m for Aouar, but there have been very few developments lately.
One club with the wealth to fund a deal is Manchester City, where many expect Aouar to go.
However, L’Equipe states that the player has cooled on the idea of joining Pep Guardiola’s side.
City had been his preference but Aouar is reportedly having second though, especially if the Citizens see their European ban upheld.
