Fiorentina are looking at two Poland internationals to strengthen their squad this summer, La Nazione reports.
Linetty, 25, could be available for a ‘not too heavy price’ and Sampdoria have shown a willingness to negotiate with Fiorentina.
Sampdoria told Fiorentina that they would be ready to discuss number when an offer is on the table for Linetty.
The former Lech Poznan star has been a regular for Sampdoria since arriving in 2016, making 116 appearances in total.
Piatek well-known in Serie A
Piatek plays for Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga, but also has experience in Serie A.
After 19 goals in 21 appearances for Genoa, the 24-year-old joined AC Milan in January 2019 for €35m.
However, Piatek failed to hit the same heights at the San Siro, scoring 13 goals in 36 league appearances over one-and-a-half seasons.
Milan sold Piatek to Hertha after just a year, with the Pole joining the German side for €27m in January.
Fiorentina are interested in bringing the striker back to Italy already. Piatek has scored in Hertha’s last two games, netting against RB Leipzig and Augsburg over the past week.
Hertha might be reluctant to let Piatek go so soon, especially given his recent form in the Bundesliga.
La Nazione reports that Fiorentina could ask for Piatek on an expensive two-year loan with an obligation to buy him.
