Nordsjaelland reject Rennes bid for Mohammed Kudus

Rennes have made an opening bid for FC Nordsjaelland forward Mohammed Kudus, Foot Mercato reports.

Considered one of the best players in the Danish Superliga, 19-year-old Kudus can play in midfield or up-front.

Rennes, who are trying to sign another Ghanaian, Mohammed Salisu of Real Valladolid, have been negotiating with Nordsjaelland for several days.

The figure offered by Rennes is not known, but Foot Mercato states that it was rejected.

Rennes are talking to the player’s agent, Jennifer Mendelewitsch, and still hope to sign Kudus ahead of other European clubs.

Kudus has scored nine goals in 19 league apppearances this season for Nordsjaelland.

The talented up-and-comer has been capped twice by Ghana, scoring on his debut against South Africa in November.
