Championship trio target Sporting midfielder Bruno Paz

Sporting CP defensive midfielder Bruno Paz is the target of three club’s from England’s Championship.

Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Reading are all interested in signing 22-year-old Paz, A BOLA reports.

Brazilian club Fortaleza also want to sign Paz, who mostly plays for Sporting’s under-23 side.

Fortaleza want to loan Paz, while the English trio would prefer to sign him on a permanent deal.

Sporting have already put their cards on the table, informing the interested parties that they are willing to sell 70% of his rights for an immediate payment of €3m.

The 22-year-old made his first-team debut for Sporting in their Europa League tie with FC Vorskla Poltava in 2018.

The holding midfielder has also represented Portugal at youth level up to the under-20s.
