David Silva will leave Manchester City at the end of the season following ten trophy-laden seasons at the club.
The 34-year-old has long said he wants join Las Palmas in Spain when his time with City was up.
However, in recent months the Spanish maestro has been linked with a move to Inter Miami in MLS.
Another club has now stepped forward, offering Silva a lucrative deal, Tuttomercatoweb reports. That club is Al Sadd of Qatar, one of Asia’s most successful clubs.
They state that Al Sadd moved toward signing Silva, who Valencia and AC Milan also have an interest in.
Of note, Al Sadd are managed by Silva’s former Spain teammate Xavi Hernández. Atletico Madrid legend Gabi also plays for the club.
Silva’s immediate priority is to end the season with Manchester City, and he is poised to sign a short-term contract in order to see out his final campaign at the Etihad Stadium.
