Standard Liege consider ex-PSG wonderkid Bahebeck

Jupiler Pro League side Standard Liege are considering a free transfer move for Jean-Christophe Bahebeck, according to FootMercato.

The former Paris Saint-Germain forward is out of contract at FC Utrecht in June after three seasons in the Eredivisie.

27-year-old Bahebeck has scored 5 goals in 19 appearances for Utrecht side this season.

His availability on a free transfer has alerted Standard, who in recent days have inquired about his intentions.

A number of French clubs are also tempted by Bahebeck’s experience in Ligue 1, potentially increasing his options.

A former France under-21 international, Bahebeck made 34 league appearances for PSG between 2011 and 2018.
