The obstacle has been the two clubs agreeing a fee, with Bayern opening the bidding at €40m.
City considered such an offer insulting and insisted that they would not sell him on the cheap.
According to Kicker, there is €10m between the two clubs – Bayern having offered €40m and City wanting €50m.

The 2017-18 PFA Young Player of the Year, Sané has played a big part in City’s recent successes. However, he has missed the current season with a torn ACL suffered against Liverpool in the Community Shield.
Bayern were close to signing Sané last year but talks ended for a year after his serious injury.
Nine months on and the winger is finally close to joining Hans-Dieter Flick’s side, but must wait a little longer…
