Diario Sport states Barcelona right-back Jurado, 16, will join United’s academy ranks after rejecting a new deal.
Barcelona offered Jurado a place in the Juvenil B squad and a good salary, but after weeks of negotiations he decided on a move to England.
The Spaniard will play one level above his age group at United, an indication of how highly he is rated.
United have paid a €1.5m transfer fee for Jurado, the latest in a long line to swap Barça for England.
Meanwhile, following reports they had overtaken Tottenham in the race for Joe Hugill, United have reached an agreement with Sunderland.
The 16-year-old striker will to join United’s academy set-up pending ratification from the Premier League.
United have also agreed to sign Czech goalkeeper Radek Vitek, 16, from Sigma Olomouc next season.
